As an enthusiastic teacher, writer and composer, Ada has been collaborating with different musicians as a piano accompanist, an orchestral player and choir coach for many years.
Throughout the past 20 years of her musical career in Hong Kong before moving to the UK, Ada has been a dedicated music educator, both in an academic role and as an instrument teacher.
Ada spends her spare time writing blogs on teaching and loves to share her philosophy on how music learning affects personal growth, specifically for young children and teenagers. She believes expressing oneself through music equips students to unlock their innermost feelings and is a valuable way to express themselves.
As a teacher, Ada likes to create a warm and safe learning atmosphere for students of all ages, from all walks of life. Different teaching methods and approaches are used according to the abilities and needs of students, to motivate and achieve good results. She looks forward to meeting parents and students who share the same beliefs.
