With Tina, students have been able to develop and enhance their songwriting skills, music theory and performance techniques, too.
Tina is also established in the music industry as a DJ, music journalist and broadcaster, with a wide knowledge of contemporary music and Jazz. As well as supporting students by enhancing their voices and music skills, she's happy to provide guidance to students with professional aspirations, too. As well as teaching established vocalists, Tina particularly loves working with children and beginners.
Tina is bubbly, approachable, and supportive, with excellent student retention at A to G Music School. She strongly believes that skillful singing is a balance of three parts; techniques, breathing - and confidence.
Testimonials
"I thought I would only have four lessons to give me a little confidence but I enjoy the lessons and have learnt so much and improved so much that, over a year later, I am still having lessons. With Tina I have progressed to learning to read music and I have grown in confidence with my singing and I now sing in an a cappella choir.
Lesson with Tina are fun, she changes them slightly from week to week so there is no chance to get bored. Because I want to learn more about music, we spend some time learning more about the notes and the way they are written. I usually sing a song of my choosing, with Tina providing corrections and pointers to improve my renditions. I can recommend Tina as a fun, thoughtful, enthusiastic and efficient teacher." - Kathleen (adult student)
