Tom, BA
Tom began playing the piano at the age of 8. Growing up in a vastly Musical family he was introduced to Boogie-woogie, Blues and Jazz Pianists from an early age. Inevitably, he was drawn to it. From this, he went on to learn piano and music theory through the ABRSM route. When he was 14 he attended The BRIT School where he honed his skills as a Pianist and songwriter. Tom went on to study at Leeds College of Music, eventually graduating with a high 2:1 BA (hons).
Throughout his time studying, and since graduation, Tom has been immersed in live performance, playing gigs with bands all over the country. Alongside playing the piano he is a songwriter, guitarist and producer for other projects he participates in including his own solo music.
Tom has been teaching the piano privately for years, since his college days, and understands the importance of making learning accessible to anyone and everyone who desires to learn. Tom is versatile in his approach to teaching, patient with students, and thrives in new and challenging situations. He finds pleasure helping students achieve their goals.
